We are leaving in less than 24 hours. I can’t wait to get to Alaska, however something tells me I shouldn’t have read this article. All that I can say is that if any Grizzlies attack, I would please ask them to not maul my face… since that’s how I make my living.

If you encounter a grizzly, run down hill. They can’t run fast down hill (too rear heavy). If you can’t find a hill to run down… point to Allison and run fast.

Be sure to eat lots of garlic, as bears are not really down with that. I’d also carry some sort of large, wooden object that ends in a sharp point. Back this up with a cross and some Holy Water, and you’re gravey.
Or you could throw copies of Scarlett Johansson’s CD at it…?

Heffe, i’ve been in Alaska for six months and have yet to see a bear. I have however seen lots of bear poopie, fortunately the poopie made no attempts on my life.
